MS 150 Will Criss-Cross and Overnight in Fayette This Weekend

More than 6,000 bicyclists will converge in La Grange this Saturday, April 29, for the Texas MS 150. Motorists should be on the lookout for cyclists this weekend around La Grange and the northern parts of Fayette County.

Church Picnic Season About to Hit High Gear

A favorite time of year is almost here for connoisseurs of fried chicken, polka music and zima pivo (Czech for “cold beer”). The first church picnic of the year in this area, St. Michael’s Spring Festival in Weimar, takes place this Sunday,April 30. The Hostyn Mayfest follows next Sunday, May 7.
