Fayetteville Baseball Playing Well

The Fayetteville baseball team swept Richards Saturday 9-0 and 14-1.

In that 9-0 win, Fayetteville got multi-hit games from Logan Fritsch, Reid Gross, Jack Schley, Travis Gully and Easton Jaeger. Schley pitched six innings of two-hit baseball, striking out nine. Jake Kubala pitched one scoreless inning.

In the 14-1 win, Gross had four hits including a triple for Fayetteville and Gully had three hits and two doubles. Gully pitched a complete game four-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Fayetteville is now 10-6 overall and 9-4 in district and plays their regular season finale at home Monday at 6:30 p.m. against Round Top-Carmine.
