That Little Voice It’s been an interesting, and stressful, couple of weeks as I returned to the states for my annual visit to doctors of all sorts. This yearly trek puts me in physical touch with my stepdaughter, her husband, and my step-son, as well as a cadre of physicians waiting to prod, poke, and scare the well developed stuffing out of me with all the ‘maybes’ they offer.

Animal Shelter Has 113 in Care

Kitten and puppy season is here, and the intake is climbing. As of April 28, total intake for the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is 492: 267 dogs and 225 cats in need. As of April 28, the shelter has 113 animals in care: 52 dogs/61 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
