Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter Awards Scholarships

The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 is pleased to announce the 2023 winners of the thirteen $1,000 Scholarships. The chapter hopes this will help them continue their education to becoming a positive contributing member of the American Society.

The winners are as follows: Schulenburg High School: Jenna Matura and Savanna Kunschick, The Jimmie Baresh Scholarship.

Moulton High School: Angelica Manzano and Trista Michna.

Flatonia High School: Tadon Cole Alvarado.

La Grange High School: Coleb Matthew Chovanec.

Weimar High School: Clayton J. Zinnante, Waylon T. Schimcek, Conner R. Barton.

The following, who are relatives to VVA Chapter 870 members, also received $1,000 scholarships.
