CVTC Board of Directors Vote Set for May 11

Colorado Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, May 11, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange.

Among the business items on the agenda, members will select four directors for the CVTC Board.

The Bylaws of the Cooperative provide for the appointment of a nominating committee by the Board of Directors. This committee selects candidates for each position to be filled on the Board. The committee has nominated the following candidates for directors:

• Daniel Jurk of La Grange (incumbent)

• Dan Mueller of Schulenburg (incumbent)

• Prince Murphy II of Winchester (incumbent)

• Norman Schultz of Fayetteville (incumbent) Additional candidates may be nominated by petition or by nomination from the floor at the meeting. Members will vote to select four directors from among the nominees selected by the nominating committee and any others that may be nominated at the meeting. Each CVTC member is entitled to one vote.

The La Grange KC Hall is located at 190 Brown St. in La Grange. Registration begins at 6 p.m. The business meeting takes place at 7 p.m.
