1973: Facelift for La Grange’s Historic Muster Oak

City council formally approved rehabilitation treatment for the historic Muster Oak in downtown La Grange. A contract awarded to Columbus Tree and Lawn Service involved cleaning the large cavity at the base of the oak, as well as several other smaller cavities, sterilization, filling in the cavities to provide bases for new growth and cutting out decayed branches.

Tejas Clinic Hosts Back 2 School Festival

The Tejas Clinic in La Grange hosted its 4th annual Back 2 School festival Saturday at their administration complex/ community garden between Travis and Colorado Streets in La Grange.
