Brown Earns National Student-Athlete Academic Award

Eighty-seven Angelo State University student-athletes have earned 2022-23 Academic Achievement Awards from the NCAA Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA), including James Cason Brown of Schulenburg.

To be eligible, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 and have completed at least two years of college-level work. The athletic director at their college or university must also be a member of D2ADA. Brown is majoring in Coaching, Sport, Rec. Fit. Admin. at Angelo State.
