Legendary Educator Demerson Celebrates 95th Birthday -
Legendary La Grange school aide Gladys Demerson, who cared for generations of students at the school, celebrated her 95th birthday recently with a big party. “A few of us past co-workers invited as many past co-workers as we could contact, along with some people she was a nanny to before she started at the schools, and other friends and neighbors,” said Kathy Simek, who provided these photos of the festivities.
