Kolt Finds $637,000 in Fentanyl

Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Monday the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Canine Unit, Sgt. Randy Thumann and K9 partner Kolt, stopped a Black Chevy Equinox on Interstate-10 at approximately 11:15 am for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 7.2 pounds of Fentanyl. The Fentanyl was located in a suitcase that had been altered to conceal the narcotics. It had a street value of approximately $637,000. Jose Guadalupe Ramos, 45, of Mission was arrested for Felony drug possession and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.

Thus, their extraordinary skillfulness to learn complicated military competencies, which seemed highly peculiar for military leaders to understand, prompted these leaders to give African American soldiers notable names like “Buffalo Soldiers” and “Tuskegee Airmen” that we still hear about today. History is chock-full of heroic and courageous African American men and women who laid down their lives for their enduring love of the United States of America.
Richard Schulze Day is Proclaimed in La Grange

La Grange Mayor Jan Dockery signed a proclamation Monday honoring Richard Schultze on his retirement as La Grange Municipal Judge. Dockery officially declared the date of Feb. 14, 2022 as “Richard Schultze Day” in La Grange.
Barbeque Pit Suspected Cause of Fire

More than 10,000 high school band students from across Texas auditioned in twenty-two different regions for a place in their respective all-region bands.
