Peaceful Protest in Schulenburg

A group of people from Schulenburg, Weimar, Gonzales and the surrounding area held a Black Lives Matter demonstration on the steps of Schulenburg City Hall Wednesday evening, June 3. La Grange Football Field Vandalized

Some of the turmoil facing the nation came to La Grange over the weekend. As reported in Tuesday’s paper, a group of teens attempted but failed to organize a riot Sunday night on the La Grange Square Sunday night. That morning, officials at La Grange High School discovered some vandalism that appears to be inspired by the more violent protest movement.

A man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle rollover Friday evening, May 29. The accident happened sometime before 7:50 p.m. near the intersection of US 77 and Petter-Rainosek Loop. Martin Luther Lutheran Church Services to Resume
