La Grange Football Field Vandalized

Some of the turmoil facing the nation came to La Grange over the weekend. As reported in Tuesday’s paper, a group of teens attempted but failed to organize a riot Sunday night on the La Grange Square Sunday night. That morning, officials at La Grange High School discovered some vandalism that appears to be inspired by the more violent protest movement.

Whomever did it used spray paint to write “F*** the police” and other derogatory statements about law enforcement on the football field.

“They did it with some field paint that they found under the stadium,” Wagner said. “Thankfully, that stuff dissolves pretty easily.”

Wagner said the school cleaned the damage Monday.
