Highway 77 Widening Project South of LG Begins

Construction to widen US 77 south of La Grange began last week. Lucea’n Kuykendall, spokesperson for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), reported that the project involves a roughly 1.5 mile stretch of US 77 south of FM 155. Crews will widen the shoulders of the highway from six feet to ten feet along that stretch of roadway.

Texas House Impeaches Paxton

C The Texas House voted overwhelmingly to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton Saturday, only the third time in the state’s history that has occurred.
