Jordyn Hunger, a junior at Fayetteville High School, will compete next week on her horse 2 Pac, at the Texas High School Rodeo State Finals in Abilene. Jordyn competes in breakaway and team roping at her region rodeos.

To the Editor: In reference to an article in the Fayette County Record on May 19 about appraisal values to make another jump. As a fourth generation resident and tax payer of Fayette County, may I suggest we the people and taxpayers have some pushback to the state, our representatives and senators? We the people are going to have to contact them and see if they like their job.

Accept Differences

To the Editor: SB 14 prohibits transgender care to children less than 18 years old. Children who are younger than 18 may not be able to decide what is best for themselves going forward.

We Deserve Better

To the Editor: It was refreshing to see the Texas House of Representatives go beyond party politics and bipartisanship to impeach Attorney General Paxton. In matters of integrity, honesty and professionalism, political party affiliations are irrelevant.
