Coronavirus: The Battle Continues

At a meeting last Thursday, Fayette County Commissioners extended its COVID-19 disaster declaration for another 14 days.

679 in Nursing Homes Tested; Free Testing June 17

On June 11, five teams of military testing experts came to Fayette County and conducted coronavirus testing at all of the Fayette County nursing homes. In total 679 citizens were tested. Of those, 311 were residents of the nursing homes and 368 were staff at the nursing homes. Fayette County Chief of Emergency Management Craig Moreau said. “we are awaiting the results of the testing and will share the results once they are available.”
