La Grange senior basketball player Keslyn Davis has been putting her senior leadership on display by fueling her team to an undefeated start in district play about halfway through the season, all while playing through a knee injury.

LG Optimist Club to Celebrate 42+ Years of Service With Open House at New Location

The La Grange Optimist Club has served the youth of La Grange through scholarships and sports for the past 42 years. It began on July 9, 1980, as a sports club offering only soccer. Shelter Has 59 Dogs, 49 Cats in Care

As of March 22, total intake for the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is 312: 177 dogs and 135 cats in need. As of March 22, the shelter has 108 animals in care: 59 dogs/49 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
