Ellinger Chamber Hall to Host Bingo April 13

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will have the monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. in the dining hall. All chamber and community members are invited.

Make plans to come play bingo at the chamber hall on Saturday, April 13. More details to follow.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Good Friday worship will be at St. John in Ellinger at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jen presiding. Easter service will be at all four churches at normal times. Ellinger service will be at 8 a.m. All are welcome.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s facebook page.

Hermann Sons 

The camp facilities in Comfort will rent the facilities and RV spots for the upcoming eclipse viewing in April. Comfort is in the direct path and will offer obstruction free for this viewing on April 8. RV spots are $100 a night with no hookup and gates will open at 7 a.m. Dorm rooms are also for rent with options of 20-35 beds per dorm. Food packages are available with either the dorm rental or RV rental. These facilities are open to members and nonmembers. Don’t forget to bring your solar viewing glasses. There will be a family fun day for all members at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on June 22. Junior members who are registered by April will be admitted free of charge. The registration form is in the monthly newsletter. Discounted tickets are available for all other members and the meal will be serviced at 3 p.m. Check your newsletter for more details.
