Shelter Has 87 Animals In Care

As of Jan. 19, the total intake for the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is 61: 28 dogs and 33 cats in need. As of Jan. 19, the shelter has 87 animals in care: 47 dogs/40 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.

Man, 75, Rescued from Floodwaters

Game Warden Shaun Bayless along with the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department rescued a man who capsized a boat on Cummins Creek Wednesday. Bayless said he received a call around 1:50 p.m.
