Re-Check the Church’s Stance

To the Editor:

In regard to the recent letter “we have gone astray” by Mr. J.F. Smith, I applaud his courage in speaking the truth, but he is mistaken on one point. Pope Francis has not given his “infallible” approval, or any approval of what God has condemned. For clarification of the Pope’s and the Church’s stand on the giving of blessings, one must read the Declaration “Fiducia supplicant” in its entirety.
