Funeral services for Monroe Miertschin, 87 of Winchester, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester with Rev. Nate Hill officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial for Miguel Vega Alvarez was held Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange with a Rosary led at 2:30 p.m. A visitation was scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.

Funeral services for Eleanor Berger, 90 of Paige, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
