James Edward Freudenberg, a cherished pillar of the La Grange community, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 23, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on May 9, 1932, in La Grange, James was a lifelong resident whose love for his hometown was as enduring as his legacy.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, today we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of life of, Carl Martin Lueker. Born on Dec. 21, 1947 in Magnum, Okla., the son to Reverend Carl Lueker and Minnie (Gerdes) Lueker. He went to be with God on Sunday, March 16, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

Services for Miss Gladys Demerson will be held at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3240 Loehr Road, La Grange, at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025. Directions: Hwy. 77 S. left to Hwy. 155, first left onto Loehr Road, then travel approximately 1.5 miles and the church will be on the right side of the Road.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Keith W. Sharp, age 76, of Round Top, on Feb. 24, 2025. Keith was born on May 16, 1948 in Waynesville, Missouri, the son of the late Frank W. Sharp and Opal M. Grussendorf . He grew up in Duncan, Okla. where he graduated with the Class of 1966. A talented trumpet player and proud member of the Duncan Demons High School Band, Keith was admired both for his academic achievements and his musical skills.

Carol Schroeder, 76, of Bleiblerville, passed to her heavenly home Feb. 27, 2025. Visitation was held from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Visitation with family was held from 12 - 2 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Welcome Lutheran Church, with the Funeral Service starting at 2 p.m. with Pastor John R. Sutton, Jr. officiating. Burial followed at the Welcome Lutheran Church Cemetery.
