The handbell choir from Faith Lutheran High School, located in Warda, successfully competed in the state music competition hosted by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). The event was at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple on Friday, March 27.

Haworth wants to divide the 13.10 acre tract into two tracts: a two-acre property around the radio station building and an 11.10 acre tract for the adjacent storage unit business.

The kindergarten class at La Grange Elementary went on a field trip to National Bank and Trust on Tuesday, March 31. Every year NBT offers the “Penny Pincher” program to La Grange kindergarteners to teach them about banking and money.
