City of La Grange Seeks Residents to Serve on Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment

The City of La Grange is actively recruiting applications for vacancies on two (2) of our citizen boards/committees. Citizen boards are not legislative bodies; the extent of their authority is contingent upon City Ordinances and/ or state statutes. Community members who serve on La Grange’s boards and committees provide an invaluable service by assisting the City Council and City Staff with developing recommendations on important policy matters. Participation in a City advisory body is an excellent way to get involved in the community and your local government. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds to reflect our community’s composition.

Pam Giese Running for Ward 3 Spot On La Grange City Council

My name is Pam Giese and I would like the opportunity to serve as the Ward 3 represent on the La Grange City Council. I am proud of the work that I did in the 30 years spent as an attorney in La Grange and as the assistant county attorney for Lee County. I believe my training, knowledge and experience as a small town attorney can be an asset to our city council. Since I am now retired, I have the time to research and understand all issues coming before the city council.
