Governor to Be in LG Thursday

Texas Governor Greg Abbott will be in La Grange Thursday, Feb. 19, for a campaign event at Jay Dee’z Sports Grill.

Abbott will appear with State Rep. Stan Kitzman, whom he has endorsed, and State Senator Lois Kolkhorst. Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock will also be there. This campaign event with the Governor indicates a tight race for State House District 85. Kitzman, the incumbent, faces a local challenger in that race, Dennis Geesaman from Flatonia.
