The City of La Grange wishes to inform residents that, beginning Thursday, Feb. 19 the Municipal Court Clerk will move their office from the Police Department to La Grange City Hall, 155 E. Colorado St. Their office can be reached by calling City Hall at (979) 968-5805. While Municipal Court trials will still take place at 243 S. College St. any payments, pleas, or procedural questions should be directed to the Clerk at City Hall.

La Grange Family Health Making Big Move/Expansion

La Grange Family Health Center, a family practice serving the La Grange and Giddings communities, has announced their plans to relocate from its current office at 1253 N. Von Minden and expand into the St. Mark’s Medical Office Building, The practice plans to open its doors at its new location at 2 St. Mark’s Place - Suite 110, La Grange, TX 78945, in the spring of 2026, providing enhanced space, improved patient flow, and capacity for continued growth.

Man Reports Campaign Sign Damage

A man from Engle says someone ripped a campaign sign off his fence and threw it in the ditch across the street. The man told the Record that he had two large 4 ft.

County to Get New Voting Machines

Fayette County Elections Administrator Donna Macik briefed the Commissioners Court last Thursday on a proposal to offer county-wide voting. Currently, on election day, voters must cast their ballot at their home voting precinct.
