James Mieth, 91, of Flatonia, formerly of New Ulm, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.

Baca Leonard Baca, a longtime resident and business man of Mont Belvieu, passed away on Dec. 13 at the age of 85.

Stephen Mark Haschke was born the fifth child of Henry Eugene and Mildred Marie Haschke in La Grange hospital on March 18, 1953. He passsed away on Saturday, Dec.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rodney L. Janak, who left this world on Dec. 23, 2024. He was a devoted father who loved his children immensely. Rodney was a man of deep faith and kindness. We find comfort in knowing that he has gone to be with the Lord and now rests peacefully in heaven.

James (Jimmy) Michael Jamail, 84, of La Grange, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024.

Pauline Julia Wayman passed away in La Grange on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89.

Ivan Benjamin (Ben) Perry, 74, passed away on Christmas day, Dec. 25, 2024. He was born in Houston on Aug. 11, 1950, to Ivan Walton Perry, of La Grange and Josephine Follett Perry, of Providence, R.I. He worked for Global Surveyors in Houston and Tri-Tech Engineers in Bellaire. He married Catherine Taylor Bambas in 1976. They later relocated to the Perry family ranch in La Grange where he opened a carpentry shop on the property. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Perry enjoyed a lifetime of hunting deer, dove, quail, and squirrel along with rock climbing, scuba diving, spear fishing and shrimping in the Gulf with family.

Lowe Lang Galle was born on October 28, 1934, in Fayetteville, Texas, to Alvin and Lydia Galle. He passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, in Kyle, Texas, at the age of 90.

Berg William Kenneth “Ken” Berg, peacefully passed on Dec. 22, 2024, in La Grange. Born on June 13, 1944, in Houston, to Gilman and Florence Berg, he was a steadfast presence in the lives of those he touched, embodying the virtues of love and wisdom throughout his 80 years.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, Our Heavenly Father decided that He needed another angel in Heaven and took our beloved Gwenna into His loving arms.
