Road Work: Makinson Road – Reworked 2.09 miles of pavement and seal coated 0.88 miles. Egypt Road – Reworked 1.67 miles of pavement and added limestone for 1.8 miles.

The year 2020 was challenging but was just a precursor to 2021! This year started off with ice and snow, and below normal temperatures which caused roads to sustain significant damage. Precinct 2 crews had to deal with pot holes and cracking asphalt created by the winter storm, followed by excessive rains that resulted in a lot of damage to the roads.

In 2021, 7.828 miles of existing roads were hauled out with limestone, rebuilt, and repaved: • Freyburg- Engle Rd 1.802 • Farek-Loth Rd 0.50 • Panorama Rd 0.516 • Salem Freyburg Rd 0.50 • Ehler-Grasshoff Rd 2.86 •Creamer Creek Rd 1.65 2.353 miles of road were chip sealed: • Farek-Loth Rd 1.00 • Krenek-Stryk Rd 0.853 • Old Plum Hwy 0.50 We also seal coated roads in Bluff Haven: Molly Ln, Richard Rd, Carmer Ct, Chris Ct. We did a lot of work in the Frisch Auf! Subdivision.

Precinct 4 hauled out, reworked and chip sealed 13.58 miles of roads in 2021: -Michalke Rd 1.2 miles -Schaffer Ln .35 miles -Swiss Alp Hills Lp 1.9 miles -Sydler Rd .8 miles -Abbotts School Grove Rd 2.9 miles -Roitsch Rd 1.28 miles -Ohnheiser Kaase Rd 1.6 miles -Knappe Rd 1.35 miles -Guettermann Ehler Rd 1 mile -Mazoch Rd 1.2 miles (needs chip seal) A total of 4.85 miles of fence lines were dozed out and ditches were reshaped for drainage purposes. Hostyn KJT Donates to Scholarship Fund

Hostyn KJT Society No. 3 contributed $1,000 toward the Hostyn/Plum Scholarship Fund. The presentation was made at the December Scholarship Breakfast fundraiser to members of the committee by the KJT officers and members.
