Year-End Road and Bridge Reports

Precinct 2

The year 2020 was challenging but was just a precursor to 2021! This year started off with ice and snow, and below normal temperatures which caused roads to sustain significant damage. Precinct 2 crews had to deal with pot holes and cracking asphalt created by the winter storm, followed by excessive rains that resulted in a lot of damage to the roads.

However, despite the weather, crews were able to lay base and pave numerous roads in the area, staying on track with the paving program and bridge replacement.

Hopefully 2022 will allow the crews to continue working to improve the remainder of the roads, bridges and culverts that need to be done.

I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding in these trying times. Looking forward to a great 2022! Happy New Year from Commissioner Luke Sternadel and the crew at Precinct 2!
