Year-End Road and Bridge Reports

Precinct One

Road Work: Makinson Road – Reworked 2.09 miles of pavement and seal coated 0.88 miles.

Egypt Road – Reworked 1.67 miles of pavement and added limestone for 1.8 miles.

Old Plum Hwy – Reworked 1.47 miles of pavement

Pine Ridge Road – Reworked 0.18 miles of pavement

Oak Ridge Road – Reworked 0.23 miles of pavement

Goehring Road – Added limestone to 3.46 miles of road

Bridge Work: Old Plum Hwy – Finished the bridge that was started at the end of 2020.

The heavy rains that fell in the spring and summer of this year really slowed us down on road work this year. We will continue to improve the quality and safety of our County roads and bridges for the future. Oil Exploration is still continuing in Precinct One which is causing a lot of road damage on our County roads. The companies have been helping restore the damage to the roads once the drilling has finished. We look forward to continue to keep improving our roads and bridges in the year to come.
