Celebrating Young Talent: Annual Emerging Artists Exhibition Opens on Aug. 5

Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS) is thrilled to announce the opening of its annual Emerging Artists Competition and Exhibition on Saturday, Aug. 5. The event will take place at the ARTS Ross Gallery, located at 114 N. Live Oak St., Fayetteville. This competition is dedicated to showcasing the exceptional creativity of students in grades 6-12, providing a platform for young talent across Southeast and South Central Texas to shine.

Dinner, Dance Saturday in Rutersville

On July 29, the Shared Lutheran Ministry and St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange will host an event to benefit Lutherhill: “Dancing Under the Stars.” This will be held at the Hermann Sons Hall in Rutersville starting at 5 p.m. with a fried chicken and sausage meal, free will donation. There will be a live and silent auction along with music by the Back Porch Boys starting at 7 p.m. BYOB and lawn chairs. Dine in is preferred.
