1,500 Trick-or-Treaters Pack Courthouse Square

An estimated 1,500 revelers circled around the courthouse for the annual Trick-or-Treating on The Square in La Grange on Halloween, and that’s not counting adults who didn’t get candy. Above, a long line of trick-or-treaters makes their way down Colorado St. in front of Prosperity Bank. “I was really pleased with the event,” said Caleb Park of La Grange Main Street, the event’s sponsor. “We were wondering if weather was going to affect turnout, that didn’t seem to happen. Weather was quite nice actually. I give full credit to the community coming out to participate and put on something special for the kids. Lots of special memories were being made downtown.”
