Clean-Up Finally Begins After Explosion

Almost nine months after a gas explosion completely destroyed Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn and killed one parishioner, clean-up has begun at the site. Up until recently the entire scene was fenced off as an investigation into the incident continued. But in late January clean-up crews were finally allowed in. This is a drone shot overhead of the very beginning of that clean-up process. Some religious items from the church were saved. The church will be rebuilt, but there is no timetable for when that might start. Masses continue to be held in the adjacent church hall.
