The Mighty Leopard Band is “Baking A Difference.” Come support the La Grange High School Band and Booster Club’s bake sale Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Farmer’s Market on the square in La Grange from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Proceeds from this free will donation sale will go towards the purchase of new Color Guard uniforms. Training in LG

Join the Adult Technology Training at the Fayette Public Library in La Grange on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. noon. All computer questions are welcome. No one is born knowing this stuff. There’s more The Lions Sealy Dance Club is having a dance on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Sealy American Legion Hall located at 1630 Meyer St. The band, Texas Sound Check, will be providing live music from 7:30-11 p.m. The public is always welcome.

Homeschool Co-op Meeting

Greater Vision Team School is a Christian homeschool co-op that offers Science, History, Geography, Writing, P.E. and Electives to children ages newborn to 8th grade, and Science for 9th -10th grade. We meet every Tuesday at Camp Lutherhill in La Grange for 12 weeks each Fall and Spring semester. Families can join for the academic classes in the morning, the elective classes in the afternoon, or both. Hermann Sons Meeting

Hermann Sons Rutersville will hold their August meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 6 beginning at 7 p.m. at the lodge hall. The meal’s main dish will be hot dogs with sides and desserts.

American Legion Quade-Werchan

The next meetings of the American Legion Quade-Werchan Post #338 and Ladies Auxiliary will be held on Thursday, Aug. 7. The meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at their facilities located at 1503 N. State Highway 237 Round Top. The following month, the meetings will be held on Sept. 4 Prior to the meetings a social hour and a catered meal will be held in honor of the Post’s 103rd anniversary and to recognize the students from Round Top-Carmine High School who attended the Girls State and Boys State Conventions this summer. Reservations can be made at the Aug. 7 meeting or through an email to the Post Adjutant Bruce Bockhorn at bockhorn7402@hotmail.com. All members are encouraged to attend both meetings to address several operational matters and celebrate the work of the post.

FCCT Fall Auditions
