Splashpad, Playgrounds Now Open in La Grange

The City of La Grange continues to reopen facilities as the city emerges from the cornavirus shutdown. City Manager Shawn Raborn gave an update on the reopenings at the City Council meeting on Monday, June 8.

New AMEN Set to Open June 29

AMEN Food Pantry in La Grange is announcing the move to the new renovated location on 851 S. Reynolds Street. The official opening date at the new location will be Monday, June 29, at 9 a.m. with the continuing of the drive-thru format. The pantry will cease operation at noon, Monday, June 22, after the drive-thru. All groceries and refrigeration units will be moved on Tuesday, June 23. This will allow the balance of the week to set the new pantry and be ready for business.

Round Top Fourth of July Plans Underway

The countdown to the annual Fourth of July parade is on. Activities begin at the Round Top Town Square at 10 a.m. The cannon will go off at 10:30 a.m. to signal the start of the parade.
