Vicar Jonathan Mollenkopf Graduates from Luther Seminary

Congratulations to Vicar Jonathan Mollenkopf who graduated from Luther seminary. He will remain with the Shared Lutheran Ministry throughout the summer. His final Sunday with the SLM will be Aug. 9.

After his internship, he can be considered for a call to a congregation. When that happens, he will be ordained as a pastor.

The Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County (SLM) churches are reopening. Rutersville and Fayetteville are conducting regular worship as of June 7, following some social distancing guidelines.

St. John Lutheran in Warrenton will resume regular worship services on Sunday, June 28, at 8:30 a.m. with graduate recognition. St. John Lutheran in Ellinger has not scheduled reopening yet.

Worship services will still be aired at noon on KTIM 89.1 and recorded for viewing on Facebook (www.sharedlutheranministry.org).

The SLM Council will be meeting on Tuesday, June 16, in Fayetteville at 5:30 p.m. The Congregation of Councils will also meet. The meeting time will be 6:30 p.m. in Fayetteville also.

The SLM wants to honor and congratulate its 2020 graduates. Graduates from Fayetteville are: Miles Gillette, Kate Holloway and Kyler Vasut; graduates from Rutersville are: Bre Jordy and Garrett Noak; and those from Warrenton are: Mason and Dustin Hoefelmeyer. Rutersville honored graduates on June 7, and Fayetteville and Warrenton will celebrate with their graduates on June 28.

The Ellinger Hermann Sons Life will not have its June meeting due to COVID-19.
