Paul David Fahrenthold peacefully passed away on Feb. 4, 2024, at the age of 86.

Ida Bess Howes, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully at her home in Round Top on March 22, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born on May 19, 1932, in Dallas, the youngest of two daughters of Charles and LaNette Bennett.

Kenneth Wayne Koehler, known affectionately as Ken to his friends and family, passed away on March 23, 2024 in Madisonville at the age of 70. Ken was born to Edwin and Leatrice Michalk Koehler on Sept.

Margie Ann Janda, age 73, passed away on March 21, 2024. Born on Sept.

Jimmie Erline Tatum passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born in Bonita, La.

Amalia Marian Hanath Woolf passed away on March 21, 2024, in Fayetteville. Born on Jan. 19, 1932, in Brenham. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of La Grange from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with family present at this time to receive friends. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. Following the church service, a reception will be held at the parish hall.

Carmen Virginia (Brennan) Humphreys, 84, of Muldoon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was the daughter of Manson Lee Brennan and Velma Frances Scott Brenhan born Oct. 12, 1939, at Florence Nightengale Hospital in Dallas.

Sheri Simmons Nolen, passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 55 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on Feb. 10, 1969, in Austin, Sheri’s infectious smile and warm heart touched many throughout her lifetime.

Funeral services for Frieda Wernecke, 90 of Giddings, were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Robert Tiner and Rev. Josh Hahn officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery.
