Genelle, being the 3rd generation was raised on her family’s farm in Willow Springs and the core values she learned in her early years at the farm served her throughout her life.

Blake Anderson officiating Robert Ray Albrecht was born on July 15, 1951 in Giddings to Emil Carl Albrecht and Frieda Emma (Saegert) Albrecht. He graduated from Giddings High School in 1969 and married Alice Steinbach on Aug. 19, 1972 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pin Oak.

Robert passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

She was raised on the family farm in Rabbs Prairie, surrounded by the love of her parents, her sister Ellen, and her brother Benjamin. Life on the farm instilled in her a deep sense of family, faith, hard work, and the simple joys of life— values she would carry with her forever.
