Heinecke
Glenn Heinecke, 66, of Largo, Fla., passed away on June 2, 2025 after a lingering illness. He will be remembered as a loving brother, brother-inlaw, uncle, and great-uncle. He was also known as being a lexicomane, a lover of words, having an extraordinary skill of using words just to stump those around him, and making us laugh.
Glenn was born on Sept. 20, 1958 to Marvin and Doris Heinecke in La Grange. He graduated from La Grange High School in 1977, and earned his associates degree in accounting at Blinn Jr. College in Brenham. He spent a 28 year career as Office Manager of the Fayette County Veterinarian Clinic in La Grange. He lived most of his life in La Grange, later moving to Florida to be near his sister and brother-inlaw, Karen and Ted Greer, and their family.
He is predeceased by his parents, and nephew, Nathan Greer.
He is survived by Karen and Ted Greer of Largo, Fla., brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Kay Heinecke of Ft. Worth; niece, Tiffany Boucher, nephews, Trey Greer and wife Tamika, Chris and Matthew Heinecke; grand-niece, Skylynn Greer, grand-nephew,Aiden Boucher, and great-grand, niece Camila Tovar. He is also survived by special friends Denise Winter of La Grange and Denise Bell of Round Top.
