Dittrich
Lillie Grohmann Dittrich, age 95, of Schulenburg, passed away on Aug. 12, 2025. Born on Dec. 8, 1929, in Engle to Rudolph and Emma Klesel Grohmann. Lillie grew up in Engle before moving to Schulenburg, where she graduated from Schulenburg High School. On April 15, 1950, she married the love of her life, Elreed Dittrich, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family.

A mass of Christian Burial for Earline Bartek will be held Aug. 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in La Grange with interment to follow at the La Grange City Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for Aug. 21, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange, Rosary at 6 p.m.
Srubar
Angeline Francis (Kopecky) Srubar, a beacon of unwavering faith and boundless love, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Aug. 10, 2025. Born in La Grange on Aug. 14, 1943, Angeline’s journey on earth began, one that would be marked by her devotion to her family, her community, and her faith. After 81 years of a life welllived, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Plum, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and strength.
Krenek
A visitation for Evelyn Marie Krenek is scheduled for Aug. 12, 2025 from noon to 6 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive guests from 4-6 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery on Aug. 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
Prihoda
Lillie Mary (Malota) Prihoda, 90, of Freeport, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was called home to the Lord and passed peacefully on Aug. 2, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lake Jackson. Born on March 4, 1935, in Fayetteville, she was the second daughter to Frank and Albina (Sury) Malota and was their fourth child of six. Lillie was a woman full of love, devotion, strength, determination, strong will, resilience and endearing faith. She held a deep love for her family and especially her grandchildren.
