Altha Leona Keith, age 93, of Pima, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Leona was born on Feb.

Laura “Faye” Jackson was born on June 8, 1929, in Mt Pleasant, to Mary and Alba Mitchell. She was received into heaven July 29, 2025, after living a long and fulfilling life.

Lawrince Reinhold Heinrich, 89, of La Grange, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was born in Schulenburg on Feb.

Val G. Hinze was born November 29, 1930 to Elsie Schroeder and Willie A. Hinze on the family farm. Val was very proud of working to have the family property recognized as a Century Farm through Family Land Heritage Program. Growing up on the farm instilled a love for animals, a green thumb for gardening, and an appreciation for nature in general. He was usually accompanied by family pets, usually his dogs, on trips through fields, woods, and never turned down an opportunity to fish or hunt.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mildred Sue May Cunningham, lovingly known as Suzie. Suzie passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Austin. She was 78 years of age.

Gerald Gest, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at the age of 86 in La Grange, Texas. Gerald, known lovingly as “Jerry” to his friends and family, and “Papa” or “Big Papa” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was born on February 1, 1939, in the small town of Nechanitz, Texas. He was a man of strong faith, an avid gardener, and a skilled craftsman in the art of restoring antiques.

Kuhn Anthony August “Tony” Kuhn was born on July 28, 1935, to Leo and Bernice Kuhn of Bernardo, Texas. He has gone home to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on July 23, 2025, at the age of 89 years.

Dale Jean Goetzinger passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 in La Grange, at the age of 95. Born on Nov. 8, 1929, in Donna, Texas to Christian Goetzinger and Alice Spaulding. Dale’s life was one marked by dedication, hard work, and a loving heart. He was a man who embodied the virtues of generosity, knowledge, and integrity.

Nancy Ann Brooks Diggs, a cherished real estate agent and community member, passed away on July 18, 2025, in La Grange. Born on June 25, 1941, in Midland, Nancy grew up in Midland and graduated from Midland High.

Edward Walter Sulak, known affectionately to friends and family as Ed, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Houston, after a courageous battle with dementia. Born on March 29, 1934, in East Bernard, Ed was a man of deep faith and unwavering spirit who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
