Leonard B. Miller (Len) passed away on Sept. 16, 2025 at the age of 89.

He was born 27 July 1936 in a rural farmhouse in Egypt, Texas, near La Grange, Texas. He attended country schools for grades 1-8, completed La-Grange High School in 1954, and attended Durham’s Business College, Austin. For a short period in 1955, he was employed by Trunkline Gas Company, Houston.

He enlisted in the Air Force in August 1955 and was discharged May 1962, after serving in Japan, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C. While in Washington, D.C., he met the love of his life, Nancy Comer, and they were married on Sept. 4 1960, eight months to the day after meeting. Upon completing his military service, he was employed by American General Life Insurance in Houston.

They moved to Fort Worth in 1963, where he was employed by General Dynamics Corporation. He completed his employment years with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in October 1992. Upon wife Nancy’s retirement from Lockheed-Martin Corporation in 1996, they moved to Lago Vista, where he spent his remaining years.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Leslie; father, Fritz Miller; and mother, Minnie Miller.

A Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 21900 RM 1431, Lago Vista.
