Wreck on Highway 159

A wreck on SH 159 between La Grange and Rutersville Monday morning slowed traffic as thousands of visitors were in the area for the annual Spring Antiques Show in northern Fayette County. Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the crash, but their report was not available in time for this publication. The crash took place near the intersection of SH 159 and Forest Hills East Rd. It involved a black Kia sedan and a white work van. Fayette County EMS transported the female driver of the Kia to Columbus Community Hospital.
