La Grange Police Respond to Vehicle Burglary
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of May 26-June 2.
Burglary of Vehicle
On June 1, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Upperline regarding a burglary of a vehicle.
Animal Complaint
On May 27, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Walnut regarding barking dogs.
On May 28, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch responded to the 900 block of E. Walnut about dogs constantly barking.
On May 28, Pietsch set up an armadillo trap in the 700 block of S. College.
On May 30, Pietsch responded to the 1900 block of Pine Ridge to get an owl out of the fence.
On May 30, Pietsch picked up 13 ducks in the 200 block of N. Franklin.
On June 1, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. River regarding an animal complaint.
Agency Assist
On May 27, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 3000 block of N. Von Minden in regard to an agency assist.
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of Svoboda regarding an agency assist.
Civil Matter
On May 30, Officer Thomas Keeney spoke with a caller concerning a civil matter.
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a civil matter.
Citizen Assist
On May 31, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of Leopard Lane where caller reported subjects engaging in intercourse, officer could not locate anyone upon arrival.
On June 1, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson regarding a citizen assist.
Disturbance
On June 1, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of W. Lafayette for a verbal disturbance, officer separated subjects.
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Travis regarding a disturbance.
Loud Music
On June 1, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with resident in the 700 block of E. Fannin regarding loud music.
On June 2, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of Carroll Lane regarding loud music. Officer was unable to locate any loud music.
Loitering
On May 27, Maxwell checked on a subject in the 1900 block of W. Hwy. 71. Business for loitering.
Found Property
On May 29, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson regarding found property.
On May 29, Keeney responded to the 200 block of Svoboda for report of found property.
Motorist Assist
On May 29, Sgt. Travis Anderson assisted individual and her children who were locked out of their vehicle in the 900 block of Mode Lane. A wrecker was called, and the vehicle was unlocked.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle
On May 26, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On May 31, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Live Oak regarding a suspicious person.
On June 2, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. Travis regarding a suspicious vehicle.
