Schulenburg High School Senior Taylor Limbaugh put on an employment skills workshop for Schulenburg juniors and seniors for her Texas FFA Ford Leadership Scholar Project. Approximately 40 students were in attendance. They had the opportunity to learn various employment skills and explore local job industries. Students attended three morning workshops where they learned how to interview with Craig Schulz, how to give an elevator speech with James Schramek, and how to build a resume with Tyler Price. In the afternoon, attendees were able to talk to local professionals and explore various careers. The students also spoke with Schulenburg High School Principal Charles Henke, Chip Bubela with Team Bubela Real Estate, Paula Grahmann with Hometown Pharmacy and Meagan Jurica and Tonia Srubar-Livingston with Beyond Therapy. Overall, the attendees learned very valuable skills that they can apply throughout their lives as well as in pursuit of future careers.
