Planting Carrots is Worth the Trouble

Senior Connections Celebrates October Birthdays

Senior Connections is getting through the month of October with smiles and joy. Senior Connections just celebrated the October birthdays of the month and it marked another milestone, not only for those having birthdays, but for those who have been there watching Helen Onheiser, Irene Janda and Allen Hoelscher celebrate another birthday for the past several years. Helen Onheiser is still working these days and she enjoys staying busy. Her life today is filled with the joy of presenting interested people with the lively sounds of past polka bands that played music that brought enjoyment to so many people. Helen comes to Senior Connections every Wednesday and enjoys playing Tarock with her sister, Gloria Miksch, and friends Clara Christ and Irene Janda.
