Frank Jones and Charlie Davis of La Grange recently took the Fayette County Record along with them, when they visited Big Bend National Park. While there they saw a “Stop the Wall” rally in opposition of a border wall through Big Bend.

Arnold Romberg, along with Sam Wilson and Mike Massingill, completed a 3,700-mile road trip to deliver Arnold’s 1923 Pierce-Arrow Town Car Landaulet to the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners Michigan. Arnold has donated this elegant piece of automotive history to the Pearce-Arrow Society at the Gilmore. The car now sits as part of a very exclusive collection of elegant vehicles where it will be admired for years to come.

Melissa, Jeremiah and Nova Wennermark of La Grange said they had so much fun this summer taking pictures with The Fayette County Record during their trip abroad to Europe. They first visited London and took photos at Buckingham, Hyde Park, and on the Thames with the Tower Bridge in the back (center). They also went to Portugal where they visited Pena and Pena Castle (right). They also went to the Czech Republic, where they captured a shot in front of Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle (left). “We are now glad to be home with great memories,” they said.
