Mary Ann Fajkus Kokes, 89, passed away July 7, 2023 in her home in Houston. She was born Oct. 28, 1933 in Praha, daughter of the late Adolph Fajkus Sr. and Agnes(Bily) Fajkus. She was united in marriage with Joseph A. Kokes in Praha on May 6, 1957.

A visitation for Raymond Villanueva Tobar, Jr. is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. A private family burial will take place at the Ledbetter Cemetery in Ledbetter.

Allen ‘Cotton’ Maurice Kahlden passed away July 16, 2023 in Columbus at the age of 92. He was born at home south of Columbus on June 1, 1931 to Werner and Mary Frers Kahlden. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1949.
