Larry Edwin Shimek, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Larry was born in El Campo, Texas on December 22, 1942, the son of the late John Shimek and Bertha (Socha) Shimek.

Burial followed in the church cemetery. Irene Helen (Berger) Noack was born on February 17, 1937 in Giddings, Texas to Walter and Minna (Biehle) Berger. She was united in marriage to Clarence Herman Noack on November 21, 1954 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin by Rev. Arthur Arndt. They were blessed with four children. Irene worked as a cook at St. Paul Lutheran School in Serbin and the Immanuel Lutheran Early Childhood Center for many years. Irene passed away the morning of Thursday, June 1, 2023 in La Grange.
