Ronald “Ronnie” Edward Zwernemann, 79, peacefully passed away in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Ronnie was born in Lee County, Texas on September 25, 1945 to Betty Bernice (Leitko) Zwernemann and Arno Edward Zwernemann. Ronnie grew up in Dime Box, Texas, attended and graduated from Dime Box High School in 1964. It was during his high school years he met the love of his life, Shirley Ann (Wagner) Zwernemann. Ronnie and Shirley were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Old Dime Box, Texas on Nov. 7, 1964.
Oeltjendiers
Jenelle Linda Oeltjendiers was born on April 8, 1939 in La Grange, Texas to parents Arnold and Linda (Kaase) Roesler. Jenelle passed through death into eternal life on June 24, 2025 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 86. She was baptized into the Lutheran church as an infant and she confirmed her Christian faith as a young adult. Jenelle met her future husband Henry Oeltjendiers while they were both attending La Grange public schools (La Grange High School class of 1954). Henry and Jenelle were married on September 8, 1963 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Elmore
David Elzie Elmore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Katy, Texas, at the age of 71. Born on July 28, 1953, in Wolf Point, Montana, David was the cherished son of Cecil Elzie Elmore and Mildred Marie (Calhoun) Elmore. He was a beacon of light to all who knew him, and his warm spirit will be profoundly missed.
Hluchanek
Irene Louise Hluchanek, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ammannsville on Aug. 10, 1924, to Henry and Josephine Hollas. She married the love of her life, Johnny Hluchanek, on April 27, 1942. Irene’s life was characterized by her unwavering faith and love for family.
