Velorie Fay Dippel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at Grand Living at Riverstone in Sugar Land, at the age of 91. Velorie was born on March 7, 1935, in Latium, Texas, to Walter and Meta (Noak) Kraemer.

Visitation with the family at Brenham Memorial Chapel will be on Friday, July 10, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the Rosary. On Saturday, July 11, visitation at Saints Peter & Paul in Frelsburg, will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., then the burial and a meal in the Diamond Center.

Anthony “Tony” James Scanapico, born Feb. 3, 1941, on Long Island, N.Y., passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, in Houston.

Daniel Frederick DeRidder, a proud Dutch South African by birth and an even more proud Naturalized American citizen, was called to be with his Lord on June 25, 2026, in Round Top. He was a true Afrikaner with his primary language being Afrikaans until he came to the United States. He was saying that he was a true example of an African American. Daniel was born on Oct. 5, 1965, one of six sons born to Antone and Doreen DeRidder in the Indian Ocean coastal town of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Daniel grew up with a large and loving family in Port Elizabeth and post-graduation from school, he served in the South African Military for two years and then began his career in an Administrative role with the Pretoria, South Africa, Postal System. Daniel retained friendships with his friends in the military and the Postal Service, remaining in touch on at least a weekly basis for the remainder of his life. Jim called these daily sessions - The South African hot line.

Juanita June (Daniels) Knobloch was born on Aug. 25, 1930, in Bell County Kentucky, one of eight children to James Harlan “Jim” Daniels and Laura Ann ( Roberts) Daniels.

Douglas Wayne Kristoff, known to everyone as Doug, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Born June 30, 1958, in La Grange, Texas, he lived a life that was full of heart, hard work, and enough personality to keep a room smiling even on an ordinary day.
