Parent Seeking Removal Of Certain Library Books

Schulenburg City Law Suspended To Help Family After House Fire

Number of Homes Flooded Again in LG

The more than eight inches of rain that fell in La Grange last Thursday morning amounted to a 200-year flood event, according to La Grange City Manager Shawn Raborn. Raborn said floodwaters entered several homes around town.

Honor Flight To Washington D.C.

On Sept. 24 & 25 Seven Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 were treated to a fantastic trip to Washington D. C. by Honor Flight Austin. After an overnight stay at the Pentagon Sheraton a group of 49 veterans visited the World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, Vietnam Veteran Wall, Naval Memorial, Air Force Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, and changing of he guard and the Ima Jima (Marine) Memorial. A trip of a lifetime that should be every Veterans Bucket List. Attending were Andy Janda, Don Christen, Louis Estrada, Buddy Hudec, Elmer Michna, Frank White and Daniel Kutac all of VVA Chapter 870.
